The NiteSite EAGLE is a patented night vision system for hunting in zero light.
It converts your day scope (there's no need to remove it) into a powerful night vision system that is quick and simple to set up. It utilises infrared in a unique way making it more affordable, reliable and user friendly than traditional light amplification technologies.
The EAGLE is for the hunter who wants a product without limitations.
The true beauty of a NiteSite is that it converts any day scope (there's no need to remove it) into a powerful night vision system that is quick and simple to set up.
Indeed, from opening the carry case to hunt ready status takes just 60 seconds once you are familiar with the set up.
All NiteSites are equipped with adaptable fittings that enable mounting onto virtually any make and size of scope and there is no need to re zero or adjust your scope in any way. Just mount the unit, switch on and you're ready to shoot.
Simple as that.
The EAGLE is the perfect night vision unit for any hunter, delivering high quality, clear night vision through any day vision rifle scope. It achieves this using powerful infrared illumination (invisible to people and animals) to literally illuminate the target area immediately in front of where the rifle scope is aiming, allowing clear target identification up to 500 metres (550 Yards) away.
The infrared image is then captured through the rifle scope by a camera attached to the scopes eyepiece and then viewed via the units integral 3.5 inch dimmable LCD screen.
All NiteSite scope mounted models operate on the same basic principle with variations to performance and specification across the range. This infographic will help you to understand what each component of a NiteSite does, how it fits into the system and what is specific to this model.
The scope mounted module houses five powerful (IR) illuminator(s) delivering a range of up to 500 metres (550 Yards). An ergonomic dimming knob on top of the unit allows accurate control of the illumination power to reduce flare for closer range targeting. The hooded front has an inset protective lens cover.
Your IR illuminated targets are viewed through a high-resolution 3.5 inch LCD screen that delivers a clear black and white image of the view through the rifle scope.
This removable plastic sleeve connects to the top of the scope clamp and ensures that the illuminator module stays firmly in the T slot even during the most powerful recoil actions.
The scope clamp is used to attach the illuminator module to the rifle scope body tube. Its flexible construction allows easy clip on attachment to the scope.
A rubber sleeve provides a secure, stable connection from the scopes ocular to the camera unit. The heavy-duty rubber construction is flexible enough to stretch over most rifle scope eyepieces.
The rugged module houses an infrared (IR) frequency camera with audio. To record, you will need to purchase the Recording Camera module (sold separately).
The 2Ah lithium-ion polymer scope mounted battery provides up to 7.4 hours (Viper) and 6.5 hours (Wolf) at typical usage (IR at Half Power). It has an adjustable Velcro strap for easy fastening to your rifle scope.
The stock mounted 6Ah lithium-ion polymer scope mounted battery provides up to 5.8 hours at typical usage (IR at Half Power) and is housed in a separate battery pouch. The sturdy weather resistant pouch is attached to either side of the rifle stock with a wide elastic belt and Velcro fasteners.
